We can help. Email the Program Coordinator with your preferred area of expertise, your location, and your preferred email contact address for job opportunities. We will forward all relevant inquiries to you by email. We ask that you notify the the employer as soon as possible whether or not you are interested, and copy our office so we can keep tabs on your search.
We no longer offer a paralegal job board. Instead, we post ALL our job opportunities on the VCC student login website. Log into MyVcc.Ca with your student number, go to "Forums," "External" for Legal job postings. Check Craigs list as well for listings.
The VCC Library has a plethora of modern, cutting edge sources on career and job search, including interviews, resumes, networking, company information and all sorts of terrific books, videos, and online sources. Start with the VCC Key Resources for Job Hunter's Online Guidebook, or come on in and browse before class.
Start networking. The B.C. Paralegal Association is a great way to meet people, and they routinely mail out job postings to all their membership. At just $25 a year for students, it's a real bargain for your job search and your career. Drop off your application at Room 202 and we will provide confirmation of your student status.
Resume assistance and review is available by appointment at the VCC Learning Centre, and there are some really good job search resources at the VCC Library as well.
